It gets busy all-year round as it’s one of the most favorite hotels of the rich and famous. So famous is this hotel that it became part of history when an attempted coup against the Arroyo government was staged in its grand lobby. The attack was made possible by a group of rebel soldiers led by Former Navy Lieutenant Senior Grade Antonio Trillanes IV (who is currently a Philippine senator).
