Loboc River Cruise: Floating Restaurant Rates, Food and Related Services
Aside from its wondrous Chocolate Hills, Philippine Tarsiers and white sand beaches, Bohol is also known for its Loboc River Cruise. During our recent Bohol vacation, we savored, for the second time, the natural beauty of the Loboc River through the famous Loboc River Cruise.

What’s new this time is the fact there is now a terminal where all the floating restaurants are stationed. As tourist, all you have to do is visit it, choose the floating resto and the selection of food you want to enjoy, and the next hours are gonna be pure bliss, a one-of-a-kind nature appreciation and cultural and gastronomic experience.
The Loboc River Cruise happens daily. There are day cruises and night cruises, perhaps to suit everyone’s schedule. Currently, there are four floating restaurants to choose from namely: Riverwatch Floating Restaurant, Long River Cruise, Village Floating Resto and Cruises and Busai Monark. All floating restaurants are wifi-enabled. How’s that?
There’s a standard P350 price per head that covers all of the following: a 1-hour cruise of the famous river, an eat-all-you-can Pinoy lunch or dinner (served on a long buffet spread and comes with a complimentary glass of soft drinks or mineral water) and a serenade by the local entertainers.
Parking is never a problem at the terminal because parking spaces are aplenty. Also, just within the premises, you’ll find several souvenir shops that sell a wide variety of Bohol items.
When we had our second Loboc River Cruise, we chose Riverwatch Floating Restaurant. We decided based on the way they offered their service, from the accommodating sales personnel at the counter down to their courteous wait staff at the floating restaurant. The lunch buffet made us real stuffed. Local Pinoy fares such as pancit, adobo, grilled seafood, chicken and pork dishes made up the feast. Fresh fruits and a selection of native delicacies such as bibingka, suman, kutsinta, palitao and the likes served as our desserts. We were happy and satisfied.
Actually, you cannot go wrong with any of the floating restaurants for your Loboc River cruise as they offer almost the same services. You just really have to choose which one you think you’ll feel comfortable with. Remember that a trip to Bohol is never complete without a visit to the famous Loboc River, so make sure to include it in your itinerary.

@jnis: it’s actually a river, and the service being offered is a cruise. it’s not so long, just enough for you to appreciate the view and the surroundings. the cruise takes approximately one hour.
